This class is beneficial for any educator and particularly helpful for those that need resources for Science curriculum.

Participants will be immersed in the Jester Park Nature Center and Outdoor Wellness and Recreation Center while engaging in fun, outdoor activities they can implement in lesson plans with students in the school yard or at nearby parks. Participants will plan and teach Next Generation Science Standards; learn a variety of strategies for using the outdoors as an extension of the classroom, and gain access to ready-to-use STEM teacher resources at Jester Park Nature Center, Jester Park Outdoor Wellness and Recreation Center, and Next Step Adventure.

This class is available for 1 License Renewal credit.
