NBC: Teaching Practice and Learning Environment-Component 3 Support Class is a 1-credit hour National Board Certification course focusing on Component 3 with Component 1 embedded in and designed to:
  • Provide teachers and counselors pursuing National Board Certification with important information about the certification process and specific Components;
  • Examine Component 3: Teaching Practice and Learning Environment and Assessment Center requirements for Component 1: Content Knowledge; and
  • Provide guidance as candidates prepare to videotape segments of learning for reflecting on practice through evidence of written commentary, video segments, and prepare to submit.


All in a supportive, constructive, and collegial environment! Teachers who attain National Board Certification would be eligible to earn $2500 annually for up to 10 years, as well as state subsidized funding for the component registration fees.

 

This class is available for License Renewal, Graduate and Audit credit.
