Making Impactful Presentations – Self-Paced, 4-Week Class (Spring Semester)

This 2 credit, 4 week course is entirely self-paced. Participants who sign up will be granted access the next Sunday at 8 a.m. and will finish the course on a Sunday by 11:59 p.m. after the four weeks has concluded. All assignments, discussions, and final project work are due at end of the 4 week course in order to receive credit for the course. The participant should expect to receive a transcript 2-4 weeks after the course is completed depending on whether it is for Licensure Renewal or Graduate Credit.

Are you using the same templates, methods, and formats for your presentations? Do you need a reboot? This 2-credit course will dive into the strategies, techniques, and tools you need to make impactful presentations. This course will share ideas on effective presentation design, quality presentation structure, techniques for keeping audience members engaged, and discover the variety of digital tools that can be Making Impactful Presentations used as platforms for your presentations.

This course will improve educators presentation skills not only for adult audiences, but the skills learned in this class will translate to effective classroom presentations for students. Teacher Leaders who are providing in-district professional development will especially benefit from this course!

This class is available for License Renewal, Paraeducator or Audit credit.
