Workshop Description:

Fractions are known as the gatekeeper to algebraic reasoning; yet many students leave elementary school without a strong sense of fractional understanding. In this 6-week workshop, we’ll explore the progression of fractions from 1st – 6th grade.

Through the use of 3-act tasks, hands-on activities, and meaningful conversations, this workshop will equip teachers with a conceptual understanding of fractions that will help them connect the dots for the learners in their class.
