The behavior needs during COVID differ drastically depending on the mode of instruction. Johanna Russell has experienced managing behavior needs under full in-person, hybrid, and fully online learning (started teaching online courses in 2015). The learning and assignments in this course are tailored to the individual needs of each teacher taking the course.
Do you feel like you are on a forever running treadmill? Does managing behaviors leave you utterly exhausted by the end of the day?
This is an action-based, 2-credit hours course where we will apply the learning to create resources and systems that allow students to meet the behavior expectations independently so that your energy and focus can be on the learning.
Required Course Material:
This course will utilize video resources, online reading, and podcasts for the course content.
This class is available for License Renewal, Paraeducator or Audit credit.
