Giving members news and information they can't get anywhere else is an important part of what we do at the ISEA. Here is a brief overview of the many ways we communicate:
Print publications
ISEA Communiqué: A seven-times-a-year publication, delivered to members' homes, is jam-packed with news and information specially geared for educators. View digital publication.
ISEA Legislative Action Center: This handy area gives you everything you need to communicate with legislators. Here you’ll find legislative updates, tips on lobbying, and background information on the issues and the bills. You can also click on a button and send your legislator an instant e-mail. Don’t know your legislator? Simply type in your zip code, and his or her name and e-mail address appears.
Member Matters: Brief and to-the-point news and tips for getting the most out of your Association membership for K-12, AEA, and ESP members.
Faculty Matters: Brief and to-the-point news and tips for getting the most out of your Association membership for community college faculty members.
NEA Legislative Action Center: Information and tools to make your voice heard at the federal level. You can also sign up for weekly news briefings on federal legislation.
NEA E-newsletter Sign-Up: Get everything from classroom tips and advocacy ideas to education news and professional development resources delivered to your inbox. On this page you can sign up to receive eight different NEA e-newsletters including Focus, Works4Me, and Member News, just to name a few.
